Wanderer Magazine, in short, is a celebration of creative youth manifested in our independently printed and published magazine as well as our online presence and curated events. It is a platform for emerging and established creatives to share the real life moments of what it means to lead a life of doing what they love. We are independently run and operate out of Thirroul, NSW on Dharawal Country.

Established amongst the classroom desks of her final year of high school, Amber-Rose first created Wanderer Magazine as a personal project. She designed 100 or so A4 pages of interviews with surfers, musicians, friends and community figures, young and old people alike, complete with a smooth finish and picturesque cover. This project was born from her own love of ingesting various types of media in relation to the creative youth and the people who were shaping it in their particular industry as well as the crossovers between, music, surf, skate, art and all things in between. Amber-Rose found an interest in what drove these people to shake things up and follow a different kind of path and how artistic concepts become reality. She wanted to share that interest, to inspire others through the work of others, and to impress upon young people the significance of pursuing a path one truly loves. She urges her audience to never settle for anything less. Since Wanderer Magazines 2019 inception, Amber-Rose has been lucky enough to establish a small but strong team of incredible volunteers with an in-house assistant editor, intern, and broad roster of photographers and other contributors. Through these services, alongside our online presence, we have built a highly engaged community of like minded people to inspire creativity and to shed some light on the people behind the amazing projects.
