On a Roll
Here is On a Roll from Issue Two, your first glimpse of “Uncovered & Discovered”, it has been a little harder to get this print out and in your hands so here’s a little taste… enjoy.
For the love of capturing raw and real moments that can be revealed through this tiny 5 dollar point and shoot. This camera is special as it can capture the memories in the moment, to give a little more of a visual sensation to the time, to treasure.
A time of celebration and devastation, fun and friendship. This time on a roll took its span over the last month of twenty-nineteen into the first month of twenty-twenty. First up we finished off the year on the far south coast of NSW to celebrate Marley, just before it sadly all went up in flames. Completely destroying the town of Cobargo only a few properties away from Santosha - the farm, who was one of the few lucky ones. The fire stormed through and covered the property in a black char, yet the house, Rosie the pig, the free range sheep and the goats were somehow okay..
Before this devastation of the Bush fires we spent an amazing few days at the farm with amazing people surfing, waving to seals, putting up with up to twenty flies surrounding us whilst having a few drinks outside, as the sun was slowly setting over the haze of surrounding bush fires.
The beginning of twenty-twenty involved a smoky start, with the smoke slowly but surely dissipating into the air. Which then involved plenty of sun filled days of beach ventures. Some of these ventures were accomplished after the sun went down. A beautiful, youthful and purely spontaneous decision.
Also included in this roll’s light was a visit to see Mac Demarco, you can’t really see him clearly because we were too busy dancing.
